WHY ORGANIC BEAUTY?

Because our customers want all the benefits of great beauty products without any of the downside.

Would you choose organic beauty products if you knew that:

  • You could get high efficacy results for your skin, make-up and hair?
  • Your skin absorbs up to 64% of what you place on it?
  • Juice Beauty’s clinical validation results showed up to 87% free radical scavenging? (Goodbye wrinkles and sunspots.)
  • Juice Beauty’s Blemish Clearing System won a prestigious Dermatological best results product award?
  • You could help save our planet from pollution and unnecessary toxic overload?
  • Most conventional beauty products contain pesticides and harmful chemicals that are absorbed through your skin?
  • They would be luxurious?

OK, so we got the message across: Many consumers have started purchasing organic food because they do not want exposure to harmful pesticides and chemicals. That’s the same reason many people turn to Juice Beauty’s products made with certified organic ingredients; they want to have all the benefits of great beauty products without any of the negatives. Just like with food, your skin absorbs up to 64% of what you place on it, so instead of harmful ingredients use healthy ingredients. Most women switch to an organic lifestyle when they are pregnant because they want to protect their unborn child from harmful toxins. They continue this lifestyle change once they use Juice Beauty’s luxurious, effective products. It’s never too early or too late to start using organics!

Difference between “Natural” and “Organic” Products

“Natural” products don’t have any regulation, so any company can name their products “natural” if they have a few ingredients that come from the earth. Natural products range from some pretty good companies trying to do the right thing to hundreds of personal care companies that are simply using the term “natural” for marketing purposes.

However, “Organic” goes way beyond “Natural”. If a product is labeled Organic on the front of the package and sold in the State of California (and soon Colorado), which has extremely rigorous organic regulations, then the products must contain USDA certified organic ingredients from a farm that uses a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides or fertilizers.

Be watchful of some of the products that contain the word Organic in the label:

In the United States, the product NAME can contain Organic or some cute form of Organic (like “Organicy”) and have little to no organic ingredients. The Product Name is exempt from all regulations and many companies use this loophole to falsely market their products as organic.

JUICE BEAUTY SKINCARE IS UP TO 98% CERTIFIED ORGANIC for every one of our products, not just a few products! Many companies will “greenwash” and work hard to have a few organic products, so their whole line can look “organic.” But Juice Beauty uses high standards for every one of our products, we work hard to perfect “just in time” manufacturing so there are fresh products on the shelves at all times.

THE HIGHEST ORGANIC CONTENT IN SKINCARE BECAUSE OF OUR POWERFUL PATENT-PENDING ORGANIC JUICE BASE

At Juice Beauty our mission is to bring skincare with the highest percentage of certified organic ingredients to customers worldwide. To that end, we have come up with a unique formulation method, our certified organic juice base. We have just been awarded our first patent on our formulation methods for our bestselling Green Apple Peel.

Some brands would like you to believe that all of their ingredients are organic. Unfortunately, they only use a few organic ingredients in a mostly water base – making the organic content less than 5%. If the first ingredient on the ingredient list is water or some fancy name for water and it is labeled organic, this means that the company dropped a few organic ingredients in water and the total organic content may be less than 5%. Unfortunately, water is not “organic or pesticide free,” and why would you pay for a 95% water product when you can get this from your tap?

Juice Beauty created an antioxidant rich organic juice base, which means that every drop feeds your skin with powerful antioxidants, nutrients, vitamins, minerals and more! And this organic juice base, to which we add luxurious ingredients like organic jojoba or shea, brings our total organic content to a very high level. Juice Beauty has already received one patent on our unique formulations and we have several patents pending.

What do all these “Seals” mean??

All Juice Beauty products meet existing organic standards: the California Organic Products Act and the USDA National Organic Program Law.

JUICE BEAUTY PRODUCTS:

436

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) seal may be carried on products that have 95 to 100 % Organic (total organic content excluding water).

COPA: To use this seal, as Juice Beauty does, the product must meet the most rigorous national standards.

In the State of California, the California Organic Products Act of 2003 (COPA 2003) prohibits the retail sale of any cosmetic product labeled as “organic” unless that product meets the criteria of a minimum of 70% organic content EXCLUDING WATER OR FANCY NAMES FOR WATER and extracts. Any product that does not meet COPA requirements cannot legally be sold in the State of California and many products from leading beauty companies have been pulled from the shelves in California because of false organic claims; however, the Department of Health Services personnel are a bit busy and you’ll still find many non-authentic organic products on the shelves that claim “100% active organic ingredients” or “organic cosmetic seals” that really are just creative marketing.

OTHER PRODUCTS:

Approximately 10% organic content

Brands that are claiming “certified by EcoCert” do NOT meet the legal requirements for organic in the U.S. Eco-Cert standards are based on the EU regulatory definition of “organic” which requires that the total organic content total approximately 10%.

Created in 2002 by the collaboration of about ten cosmetic laboratories working on job specifications for cosmetics companies. Products that are bearing the Organic or Environment Friendly logo contain mainly natural ingredients.
