From California to Hong Kong

I just got back from my first trip to busy & bustling Hong Kong.  I spent 10 days talking about Juice Beauty, the clinically proven Organic Solution.  I was hosted, so generously, by our hard-working distributor team.  And I gave, if I do say so myself, my best training to date to the entire distributor team, our international sales managers and our Japanese distributor.

 

Hong Kong’s retail skin care environment is quite different than in the US. While we are used to shopping in Nordstrom or Sephora, where there are numerous brands vying for our attention, in Hong Kong each brand has its own store or counter.  To meet the customer expectations, our distributor has built beautiful Juice Beauty counters in the high end shopping centers that dot the island.  Each counter also has a small room where clients can enjoy a Juice Beauty facial.

We are building our spa business in Hong Kong (and in the US!) so we had several meetings with spa managers.  The sales team explained the benefits of organic juice-based skin care while I gave a complimentary hour long facial.  How many business meetings can boast that?

I also got interviewed by several publications including Cosmopolitan Magazine!  Hong Kongers are more and more interested in organic skin care and Juice Beauty is proud to be there to meet that need.  As soon as those press clippings arrive, we’ll post them here.

Finally, we participated in a huge international trade show where our booth was the most attractive and busiest one in the section.

All in all, this exciting trip was a huge success.

From Hong Kong to California

We just finished hosting six leading beauty editors from Hong Kong for a taste of organic living-California style. The editors enjoyed a tour of one of Juice Beauty’s suppliers, DeLoach winery where they saw organic, sustainable farming techniques used for our grapes; they enjoyed many organic buffets, EcoChic events at Sephora and Nordstrom and ending with a tour of our Head Juicer’s green house in Marin. Juice Beauty chauffeured the Editors in hybrid cars all week to help keep the earth a little bit more green. On average, hybrid cars cut emissions by 25%-35% even over the most fuel efficient gas powered models.
