Karen Behnke, Head Juicer is leading the charge to become the leader in organic beauty. For over 2 decades, Karen's mission has been to build businesses that are health and wellness driven. At 24, Karen pioneered the corporate wellness industry that revolutionized how health was treated in the workplace. Built on the idea that a healthy workforce is a productive workforce, Execu-Fit (later named PacificCare Wellness Company) provided worksite wellness programs around the country that delivered onsite screenings, health risk appraisals wellness educational and fitness programs, for major corporations. Karen later became an executive at the multi-billion dollar healthcare company that purchased her wellness company. Karen's current passion and mission continues this drive to forge positive health change through consumer safety for women that spurs organic and sustainable farming.
Melissa Jochim, Product Juicer, brings a chemist's profound understanding of science and an organic enthusiast's passion for purity to her position leading Juice Beauty's Product Development. Melissa, who first began developing products for Avalon Natural Products back in 1993, was one of the first to develop effective organic products. During her decade long tenure she created over 300 different products and developed unparalleled expertise in aromatherapy, chemistry and formulations. In her capable hands, Juice Beauty formulations are an efficacious combination of the purest organics bolstered by anti-aging technology. She brings to Juice Beauty a vision defined by the quality and integrity that is her signature. Her mission is simply to create safe formulas that are effective in use.
