Juice Beauty x Well + Good

Well + Good, a digital news website and newsletter publication dedicated to all things wellness, recently released its Healthy City Guide to our beloved San Francisco Bay Area. In the guide, our very own Juice Beauty Founder, Karen Behnke, is featured as a wellness expert! We were also invited to take part in Well + Good’s Sweat Series event on Sunday, October 6th.

Guests were treated to a set our Ylang Ylang Spa Wash and Lotion, and received an uplifting Instant Algae Eye Mask from our wonderful team! Stay tuned to our Facebook page for upcoming events, as we hope to see you there!

From the Well + Good Healthy City Guide, here’s Karen Behnke’s Perfectly Adventuresome Mid-Week Eco-Healthy Day in San Francisco!

Start your eco-fabulous day with filtered water and a very light bite, such as an organic yogurt, then head out into the sunshine wearing Juice Beauty SPF 30 Sport Sunscreen and a hat. After a warm-up walk, end up at the Marina Green to start your jog/power walk to the Golden Gate Bridge and back (4 miles). If you wish a longer distance continue another 3.5 miles over the hill through Fisherman’s Wharf (mid-week or early to avoid the crowds) to the beautiful Ferry building.

Hop on a streetcar down Market Street and jump off at 10th Street to visit The Market and enjoy curated San Francisco Bay Area food brands. I recommend the organic scrambled egg breakfast bar, paired with a Project Juice smoothie made with organic almond milk. Make your way through the hip crowd of Twitter and Uber employees and stop by the on-site café for locally curated coffees and teas (my favorite is an organic English BF tea agave soy latte. Feeling full? Find the close-by Bay Area Bike Share station and take a bike ride past the majestic City Hall area to Golden Gate Park.

Pheww…time to clean up and then hop in an Uber to Credo Beauty – the hip new boutique on Fillmore Street specializing in natural and organic beauty- for a Juice Beauty mini-facial and makeup touch-up. After this eco- fit day, it’s now time for a vodka lemonade or California wine at the Elite Café on Fillmore and then have fun exploring this street to choose among the many neighborhood restaurants that serve organic greens and wild salmon.
